Services Delivered: Construction Estimating and University of Houston
Features of the Project:
In 2019, Halford Busby started working with Page Southerland Page to provide estimates on renovating the University of Houston (UH) Core Building – Roy G. Cullen Building. The original building was constructed in 1939 and has 54,079 square feet of laboratories, classrooms and administrative spaces for the College of Liberal Arts. The overall goal of the renovation was to strategically renovate this building as well as others that form the general education core of the central UH campus. The project would address needed maintenance, modernizing the facilities and aligning the interiors with students’ and faculty members’ needs.
Halford Busby provided three estimates at the schematic design, design development, and 50 percent construction documents estimate.
