Design Development Estimates for White Oak Middle School in New Caney, TX.

In 2017, Halford Busby worked with Corgan Architects to provide two estimates at the Design Development and Construction Documents milestones for White Oak Middle School in New Caney I.S.D., which is located in Porter, Texas. White Oak Middle School is one of four middle schools in the district. It serves more than 900 students annually.

The project included the following:

• A new agriculture (AG) building comprised approximately 2,405 square feet with a brick veneer exterior and a modified bitumen roofing system.
• The building includes an AG classroom, storage room, lab and office.
• The building addition also included renovations to existing building floors and ceiling finishes, along with MEP system updates.

The additions and renovations were estimated at $1.4 million.
