Service: construction cost estimating for stadiums
Halford Busby supplied the design documents cost estimate for creating and developing Tomball I.S.D.’s newest and largest stadium. The 40,825-square-foot stadium in Tomball, Texas, was established in the fall of 2021 at a budget of $48 million. The Tomball I.S.D. Stadium has a capacity for 10,000 spectators and provides 3,000 parking spots.
Not only is the Tomball I.S.D. Stadium the home for the district’s soccer, football, band and art programs, but the client also wanted it to serve as a hub for the surrounding community. The multi-purpose facility, known as the Tomball Event Center, also features a two-story community center with a capacity of 600 people.
Within the stadium, spectators and fans will find:
- a single-level press box featuring coaching booths, a two-story film deck, radio booths, a press box and a scout booth,
- a 36’ x 52’ scoreboard,
- a 2.5’ ribbon board spanning the entire stadium,
- Trionic AstroTurf,
- concessions and
- an on-site retail store.
