In 2016, Halford Busby provided a design development estimate for Prozign Architecture Firm. The estimate provided costs for all trades for a new cafeteria building at the Houston Zoo.
Cypress Circle Café, shown above, opened in November 2018 just in time for the annual TXU Energy Presents Zoo Lights. The café serves locally sourced, sustainable food. Visitors enjoy watching signature pizzas baking in the pizza ovens while watching seasonal bowls created before their eyes. Cypress Circle Café also offers an interesting view of the Kathrine G. McGovern Texas Wetlands.
